OrganizeOS

OrganizeOS Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026

OrganizeOS keeps your home inventory on your phone. There is no account and no OrganizeOS server, and we (Resolvent Technologies, Inc.) never receive your inventory.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter is stored in the app's private storage on your phone:

  • The names, descriptions, quantities, values and tags you give your places, boxes and items.
  • The QR labels you link to them, and a history of what moved where.
  • Photos you take or attach, and voice notes you record.

OrganizeOS has no advertising, no tracking and no analytics of its own.

Permissions

  • Camera: to scan QR labels and photograph boxes and items.
  • Photos: to attach photos you already have.
  • Microphone and speech recognition: to record voice notes and to let you say an item's name instead of typing it.

Each is used only when you use that feature.

Services from Apple and Google

  • Speech to text. When you speak an item's name, your phone's built-in speech recognition turns it into text: Apple's on iPhone, and your device's speech service (often Google's) on Android. That service may send the audio to Apple or Google to process it, under their own privacy policies. OrganizeOS gets back only the text, which stays on your phone.
  • iCloud Drive backup (iPhone). If iCloud Drive is on, OrganizeOS automatically saves a backup file of your inventory, photos and voice notes to your own iCloud Drive (in an OrganizeOS folder), at most once every six hours, when you open or leave the app. It goes to your iCloud account, which Apple stores under its own privacy policy; we have no access to it. To stop it, turn off iCloud Drive for OrganizeOS in your iPhone's iCloud settings.
  • QR scanning (Android). On Android, labels are read on your phone using Google's ML Kit. Google says ML Kit collects limited diagnostic information, such as device model, OS and app version, and performance measurements, along with a random identifier for the installation. That data goes to Google, not to us, and OrganizeOS does not give it your inventory. On iPhone, labels are read by Apple's built-in scanner and nothing is sent.
  • Device backups. Your phone's own backup (such as iCloud Backup, or Android backup) may include the app's data, depending on your settings.

Sharing

We do not receive your data, so we do not sell or share it. If you use "Export backup", the backup file goes wherever you choose to send it from your phone's share sheet.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your phone. You can delete individual photos and voice notes in the app; archiving an item hides it but keeps it. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the phone. It does not delete the backup in iCloud Drive or any backup you exported; delete those yourself (for iCloud Drive, in the Files app under iCloud Drive › OrganizeOS).

Children

OrganizeOS is not directed to children under 13. We do not collect personal information from anyone through the app.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
